Job Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- ability to work full time on second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with varying days
- must be able to perform physical activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and lifting
- willingness to learn and follow company policies
- ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors and staff
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- ability to perform light cleaning duties efficiently
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service by offering detailed one-on-one attention
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts and exhibits professionalism
- performs other duties as assigned
