Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- At least two years of prior housekeeping experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong focus on safety and productivity
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Skilled at working courteously and patiently with the elderly
- Knowledge of safe and appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment use
- Familiarity with computer software programs and office equipment operation
- Availability to work beyond normal scheduled hours, weekends, and other positions as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and timely
- Patience and compassion working with elderly populations
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Familiarity with applicable computer software and office equipment
Job Duties
- Ensure all housekeeping protocols and procedures are followed in accordance with established health, infection control, universal precautions, sanitation, industry standards, and facilities' appearance policies and regulations
- Clean and provide sanitation to all private residences, healthcare units, and common areas including dusting, polishing, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, etc., according to established health, hygiene, and appearance policies and regulations with priority set by management
- Utilize good stewardship with inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Report any shortages to management
- Work independently and as part of a team effectively
- Maintain accurate and timely completion of housekeeping tasks
- Demonstrate courteous and friendly interaction with elderly residents while respecting their rights and privacy
