Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas
- Clean and defrost refrigerators in resident apartments as needed, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments focusing on entry areas, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests with a smile to serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Courteously review the menu, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishable items, and deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals and reset for next meal following sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as assigned
