Job Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write the English language
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Some housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift between 20 to 50 lbs
  • Must possess adequate sight and hearing or use prosthetics that enable these senses
  • Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress
  • Must meet general health requirements of the facility

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping activities in accordance with facility standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and comfort of the facility
  • Follow federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
  • Work under the direction of the Executive Director, Administrator, or Director of Housekeeping
  • Use appropriate cleaning methods and materials
  • Assist in resident evacuation during emergency situations
  • Collaborate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers
