Job Requirements
- Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policies of the hospital
- Ability to work full-time day shifts
- Basic education equivalent to grammar school through 8th grade
- Ability to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Willingness to adhere to infection control standards
- Ability to follow directions and safety protocols
- Physical capability to handle the demands of maintenance housekeeping tasks
Job Qualifications
- Grammar school through 8th grade or equivalent
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and hospital policies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Basic understanding of infection control procedures
- Good communication skills to interact with team and supervisors
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in healthcare or cleaning environments preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties in patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and clinical areas
- Ensure compliance with hospital regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policies
- Maintain sanitary conditions to support patient safety and comfort
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel
- Adhere to infection control protocols and best practices
- Support team members with additional cleaning tasks as assigned
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order
