Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
  • Capable of working flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to engage with seniors in a compassionate and professional manner

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Good communication skills and a respectful attitude towards seniors
  • Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization
  • Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment
  • Ensure residents’ living areas and common spaces are kept neat and hygienic
  • Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens
  • Report any maintenance or safety hazards promptly to management
  • Follow proper disposal procedures for waste and hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support community needs and special projects
