Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related cleaning roles preferred
- ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely
- familiarity with infection control and sanitation procedures
- good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
- willingness to work flexible part-time hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and moving furniture
Job Duties
- Utilizes protective gear as directed
- professionally clean and maintain property
- use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
- sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
- move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
- assist with laundry as needed
- responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions
- interacts appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
- follows infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
- follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures/techniques
