Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in housekeeping or related cleaning roles preferred
  • ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely
  • familiarity with infection control and sanitation procedures
  • good physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • willingness to work flexible part-time hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and moving furniture

Job Duties

  • Utilizes protective gear as directed
  • professionally clean and maintain property
  • use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
  • sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
  • move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
  • assist with laundry as needed
  • responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions
  • interacts appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
  • follows infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
  • follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures/techniques
