Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in housekeeping or similar roles
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products
- ability to use standard cleaning equipment
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, lift up to 20 pounds, and push equipment up to 30 pounds
- capability to handle and manipulate cleaning tools and equipment
- willingness to work flexible hours as scheduled
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a housekeeper, janitor, or porter in a residential building
- knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and their proper use
- ability to use standard cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and cleaning carts
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to react to and address emergency situations timely
- understanding of safety standards and procedures
- physical capability to perform cleaning tasks involving lifting, walking, and climbing

Job Duties
- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, common rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards
- clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
- empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport trash to disposal areas
- carry toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
- sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using appropriate tools and machines
- dust and polish furniture and equipment
- maintain well-stocked and tidy storage areas and carts
- remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas
- wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary
- report maintenance issues like burned-out lights and leaks to the Building Maintenance Department
- disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam sterilizers
- dust window blinds
- observe all safety standards and precautions to maintain a safe work environment
- report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
- prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for social or business functions
- properly utilize new equipment following safety procedures
- respond to emergency maintenance requests as required
