Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- one to two years of housekeeping experience
- knowledge of janitorial equipment and maintenance procedures
- able to work independently
- strong communication skills
- valid driver’s license
- able to meet motor vehicle policy
- physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, stooping, lifting 10-50 lbs.
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- knowledge of safety protocols
- adhere to fair housing laws
- complete required training

Job Duties
- Clean common areas of property, model apartments or vacant apartments
- empty trash
- dust and vacuum
- polish and clean furniture
- clean fixtures, glass, and window ledges
- mop floor areas
- clean vacant units in preparation for move-ins
- perform spot cleans on model or vacant units
- follow established cleaning schedule
- clean and deodorize bathrooms
- replace toilet paper, paper towels and soap
- keep inventory of cleaning materials
- notify Property Manager of supplies needed
- complete work orders and inspections
- review and follow Material Data Safety Sheets
- maintain effective communication with residents, co-workers, community leaders, owners, management, vendors, and service providers
- keep management informed of area activities and problems
- attend and participate in meetings
- complete required records and reports
- assist vendors and service providers
- treat residents and staff with respect and dignity
- report complaints, allegations of abuse, and compliance issues
- manage relationships internally and externally
- adhere to fair housing laws
- complete assigned training
