Job Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Cleaning guestrooms mid-stay and after departure, ensuring that all surfaces are properly sanitized and disinfected
  • Making beds with fresh linens and pillows
  • Replacing dirty linens and towels with clean ones
  • Restocking guestroom amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses etc.
  • Removing garbage, recycling, and room service trays from guest rooms and hallways
  • Picking up and returning laundry items to the laundry room
  • Organizing and stocking housekeeping carts with all necessary cleaning supplies
  • Notifying the maintenance department about broken appliances, old light bulbs, or any damage to the room
  • Upholding the hotel's confidentiality and security standards by not disclosing any guest information
  • Dusting and polishing various surfaces and furniture in guest rooms and public areas
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in guest rooms and public areas
  • Emptying trash bins and replacing trash liners as needed
