Job Requirements
- Must have experience in a hospitality, service, or consumer-facing field preferred
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Must possess effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must have a strong desire to provide exceptional hospitality and guest service
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in/out on time according to schedule
- Must clock in/out properly for breaks
- Must provide adequate notice when calling out for shifts
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting housekeeping items
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve all guests with hospitality and genuine care
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time and follow proper break protocols
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work collaboratively with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
- Utilize relevant technology proficiently for role tasks
- Answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces, both front and back of the house, clean and well-organized
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests while cleaning with a smile and by name if possible
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed with a nametag and smile
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional role
- Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
- Complete pre-cleaning duties such as stocking supplies and attending meetings
- Clean and restock assigned guest rooms thoroughly per shift
- Perform additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, and laundry as assigned
- Ensure front and back of house areas are well-organized and clean
