Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety protocols
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident rooms, public areas and support areas as assigned
- Collect, clean and redistribute community laundry
- Ensure community is in compliance with OSHA
- Practice safety procedures at all times including personal protective equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, material safety data sheets (MSDS), and lockout/tagout procedures
