Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hospitality setting is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Job Duties
- Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities are available to properly clean each room
- Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room
- Cleans the guest rooms assigned and ensures the amenities are stocked for each cleaned room
- Completes entire housekeeping checklist
- Accurately marks clean rooms to supervisor for inspection
- Reports any damages or hazards that are present in guest rooms such as burned out light bulbs or broken furniture
- Secures guest room doors upon exiting the room
