Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • CPR or BLS certificate preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in internet browsers, Microsoft Office, electronic health records systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Physical capability to perform essential functions including lifting and moving heavy objects
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • CPR or BLS certificate preferred
  • Proficiency in internet browsers such as Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Ability to use HR related systems if applicable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction
  • Capability in conflict intervention and resolution
  • Physical ability to meet job demands

Job Duties

  • Performing thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal
  • Performing cleaning duties to a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the community
  • Collecting and laundering soiled linens in accordance with policies and regulations designed to protect the health and hygiene of residents and team members
  • Folding, sorting, and distributing clean laundry
  • Reporting supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock/replenish supplies as needed
  • Working in coordination with maintenance - reporting any necessary repairs noticed during the workday
  • Ensuring effective communication with residents' families concerning residents' care encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing
  • Working well with others and taking direction from management, as well as taking initiative with conflict intervention and resolution
  • Meeting physical demands including standing, moving, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling and lifting/moving weights up to 50 pounds independently or 200 pounds with assistance
  • Fulfilling other duties as assigned to meet the needs of residents and the community
