Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certificate preferred
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in internet browsers, Microsoft Office, electronic health records systems
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physical capability to perform essential functions including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Ability to collaborate with team members and management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certificate preferred
- Proficiency in internet browsers such as Explorer, Chrome, and Fire Fox
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to use HR related systems if applicable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and take direction
- Capability in conflict intervention and resolution
- Physical ability to meet job demands
Job Duties
- Performing thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal
- Performing cleaning duties to a schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the community
- Collecting and laundering soiled linens in accordance with policies and regulations designed to protect the health and hygiene of residents and team members
- Folding, sorting, and distributing clean laundry
- Reporting supply and equipment needs to Supervisor and restock/replenish supplies as needed
- Working in coordination with maintenance - reporting any necessary repairs noticed during the workday
- Ensuring effective communication with residents' families concerning residents' care encompassing their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing
- Working well with others and taking direction from management, as well as taking initiative with conflict intervention and resolution
- Meeting physical demands including standing, moving, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling and lifting/moving weights up to 50 pounds independently or 200 pounds with assistance
- Fulfilling other duties as assigned to meet the needs of residents and the community
