Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior equivalent work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position a plus
- ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- lifting limited to 35 lbs for clinical staff and 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- able to use assisted-lift devices or obtain assistance for heavier lifts
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related field preferred
- customer service knowledge
- understanding of trash removal process
- familiarity with room cleaning process
- knowledge of different cleaning types such as daily, discharge, terminal and isolation
- experience cleaning restrooms and office areas
Job Duties
- performs daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms
- cleans nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas
- removes trash efficiently
- follows room cleaning processes including daily, discharge, terminal and isolation cleaning
- cleans public area restrooms differently from patient rooms
- demonstrates office cleaning skills
