Job Requirements

  • Prior experience working in senior housing as a housekeeper
  • Prior experience working in an apartment or condo complex, hospitality center, or hotel as a housekeeper
  • Jobs or volunteer assignments providing housekeeping services
  • Other roles including hands-on multi-unit housekeeping experience
  • Experience in customer service, warehouse, hospitality, or industrial environments
  • Jobs involving interaction with seniors and helping meet their needs
  • Passion for your work and commitment to serving others

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Current negative TB test
  • Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours
  • Ability to carry or transfer up to 50lbs with assistance
  • Ability to pass criminal record or background check
  • Be efficient and exercise good time management skills
  • Must be able to work well independently with little oversight
  • Must have a track record of top-notch organizational abilities and communication skills
  • Valid driver license with clean driving abstract
  • Willing to attend and incorporate different types of training into work efforts

Job Duties

  • Provide housekeeping services for residents' suites and communal areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of the building exterior and grounds
  • Use various housekeeping tools and equipment safely
  • Communicate effectively with senior residents and team members
  • Document and follow up on housekeeping tasks
  • Adapt to changing tasks and approaches
  • Learn and apply best practices for housekeeping in senior living communities
