Job Requirements

Prior experience working in seniors housing as a housekeeper
Prior experience working in an apartment/condo complex, hospitality center or hotel as a housekeeper
Jobs or volunteer assignments that provided housekeeping services
Experience in customer service, warehouse, hospitality, or industrial environments
Experience interacting with seniors and helping meet their needs
Strong communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good customer service skills
Skilled in the use of housekeeping tools and equipment
Basic computer skills
Detail orientation and documentation abilities
Capacity to operate cleaning equipment safely
Ability to adapt and innovate
Hardworking with a get it done attitude
Understanding or willingness to learn about dementia

Job Qualifications

At least 18 years of age
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Current negative TB test
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move continuously during work hours
Ability to carry or transfer up to 50lbs with assistance
Ability to pass criminal record/background check
Efficient and exercise good time management skills
Work well independently with little oversight
Track record of top-notch organizational abilities and communication skills
Valid driver license with clean driving abstract
Willing to attend training and incorporate into work efforts

Job Duties

Maintain cleanliness of residents' suites
Clean gathering and social spaces in the community
Care for building exterior and grounds
Use various housekeeping tools and equipment safely
Provide customer service to seniors
Follow up and document cleaning tasks
Incorporate feedback to improve work performance
