Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Able and willing to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- Strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol during employment
- Must comply with emergency and safety training requirements
- Adhere to company grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
- Understand this is temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks
- Successful applicants must effectively handle pressure and maintain composure and a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred but not required
- Ability to work long hours and lift, bend, climb, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure
- Must adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Job Duties
- Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
- Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledging guests by name and addressing housekeeping inquiries and service requests according to company standards
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of maintenance needs
- Collecting and disposing of trash
- Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
- Establishing genuine relationships with guests and catering to housekeeping requests efficiently
