Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Able and willing to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol during employment
  • Must comply with emergency and safety training requirements
  • Adhere to company grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
  • Understand this is temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks
  • Successful applicants must effectively handle pressure and maintain composure and a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred but not required
  • Ability to work long hours and lift, bend, climb, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure
  • Must adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings

Job Duties

  • Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledging guests by name and addressing housekeeping inquiries and service requests according to company standards
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of maintenance needs
  • Collecting and disposing of trash
  • Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
  • Establishing genuine relationships with guests and catering to housekeeping requests efficiently
