Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and checklists
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work under flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks involving bending, lifting, and standing
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure enough cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities are available
- Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room
- Cleans assigned guest rooms and replenishes amenities
- Completes housekeeping checklist thoroughly
- Marks clean rooms for supervisor inspection
- Reports any damages or hazards in guest rooms
- Secures guest room doors upon exit
- Keeps corridors and service areas neat and clean
- Turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Follows safety and security procedures
- Utilizes protective equipment
- Reports unsafe conditions and incidents to management
- Maintains neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
