Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or related field is a plus
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak, and hear
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs for clinical staff and 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- Capability to use assisted-lift devices or get help for lifting heavy objects
- Willingness to work full-time during the 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm shift
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of trash removal processes
- Understanding of room cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform different types of cleaning including daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation
- Experience cleaning restrooms and offices
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
- Clean nursing stations, lounges, and restrooms
- Conduct cleaning in offices and clinic areas as assigned
- Remove trash according to prescribed processes
- Clean restrooms in public areas differently from patient rooms including showers
- Follow proper procedures for daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
- Demonstrate customer service skills while interacting with patients and staff
