With approximately 400 employees, LIFE Pittsburgh offers a community-based alternative to traditional nursing home care and assisted living. The organization operates under the nationally recognized Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which focuses on enabling frail older adults to remain in their own homes while receiving a coordinated plan of care. Job Requirements

must have valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
ability to work independently
willingness to assist elderly participants
reliable and punctual
physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
strong attention to detail
effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
strong attention to detail
commitment to cleanliness
ability to follow instructions and work independently
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
compassionate and patient demeanor

Job Duties

assist frail elderly participants in their homes
maintain a clean and organized environment
perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
clean bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas for hygiene
manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
ensure participants feel comfortable and cared for
follow safety and hygiene standards
