Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
ability to perform physical tasks required for housekeeping such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
ability to follow safety standards and procedures
effective communication skills
willingness to work in a team environment
reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

experience in housekeeping in a healthcare setting is a plus
experience in customer service is highly desired
upbeat and positive team player attitude
strong judgment and solutions-oriented

Job Duties

cleans/polishes furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units in residents' rooms and community areas as instructed
cleans, washes, sanitizes, and polishes bathroom fixtures ensuring removal of all water marks
cleans floors including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting following safety protocols
cleans carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting as directed
cleans walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing
removes dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces with proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
cleans hallways as instructed
disposes of waste/trash in proper containers and relines trash receptacles with plastic liners
