Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Physical capability to perform lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • No alcohol consumption allowed during employment
  • Compliance with grooming standards
  • Temporary employment for maximum of 28 weeks
  • Effective communication skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age

  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
  • Willingness to abstain from alcohol consumption while onboard
  • Commitment to emergency and safety training
  • Adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings

Job Duties

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
  • Acknowledge guests by name and address all housekeeping inquiries and service requests
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
  • Organize inventory and stock linens and supplies
  • Carefully clean up spills and notify managers of maintenance requests
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Create genuine relationships with guests and efficiently fulfill housekeeping requests
  • Assist with greeting guests during embarkation and support special events such as afternoon tea and cocktail parties
