Job Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Must have ability to work independently
- Must be able to operate industrial laundry and cleaning equipment
- Must comply with hotel safety and emergency procedures
- Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
- Must be able to work flexible shifts as required
- Must adhere to hotel dress code and punctuality standards
Job Qualifications
- Must be physically fit to bend, stoop, and lift
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Experience working with industrial laundry and cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to follow hotel policies and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and guest service orientation
- Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Proceed to the laundry area to pick-up assigned cart and necessary supplies
- Avoid making excessive noise in guest room areas
- Prioritize cleaning check-outs and handle special requests
- Report rooms listed as do not disturb to superior for approval
- Change sheets in every room daily unless specified otherwise
- Continue cleaning room to room while respecting do not disturb signs
- Clean rooms according to established procedures
- Return cart to linen room at end of shift
- Follow all reasonable requests by management
- Be flexible regarding work schedule
- Report to work on time wearing proper uniform and name tag
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and updates
- Understand guest service scores and participate in achieving goals
- Handle duties according to hotel policies and procedures
- Know and act according to emergency procedures
- Report unusual occurrences to manager
- Assist fellow associates to improve operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must have valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
