Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding cleaning tasks
  • Adherence to company grooming and conduct policies
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as required
  • Pass pre-employment background and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug test
  • Ability to follow grooming standards including tattoo and piercing limitations
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to participate in emergency and safety training

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
  • Acknowledge guests by name and address housekeeping service requests efficiently
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
  • Organize inventory and restock linen and supplies
  • Clean up spills and notify management of maintenance needs
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Develop genuine guest relationships and assist with housekeeping requests
  • Greet guests upon embarkation and assist during special events such as afternoon tea and cocktail parties
