Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Able to work 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, standing, or walking for long periods
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Willing to comply with strict no alcohol consumption policy during employment
  • Able to meet grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
  • Must perform emergency and safety functions related to ship operations
  • Temporary employment limited to 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Ability to comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other substances
  • Willingness to comply with no alcohol consumption during employment
  • Ability to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operations
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure

Job Duties

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, safe, and attractive for guests
  • Prioritizing comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas around the ship
  • Acknowledge guests by name and kindly take action for all housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
  • Organizing inventory and stocking linen and supplies
  • Carefully cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment and notifying managers of necessary maintenance requests
  • Collecting and disposing of trash
  • Properly cleaning upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Creating genuine relationships with guests and catering to all housekeeping requests efficiently
  • Greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
