Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent desirable
  • One year of comparable work experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend product labels, MSDS sheets and work orders
  • Knowledge of cleaning and maintaining various surfaces preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Willingness to work weekends, potentially long hours and split shifts
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to work with or apply strong smelling chemicals
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch and kneel for detailed cleaning work

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent desirable

  • Knowledge of maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of surfaces preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions regarding chemical and supply use

Job Duties

  • Replace and position all furniture to Club standard after events
  • Dust all furniture and fixtures
  • Clean floors including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping
  • Empty wastebaskets and ashtrays
  • Disinfect surfaces
  • Clean and polish brass
  • Wash windows and mirrors
  • Spot shampoo carpets
  • Clean vents
  • Wipe and clean window sills, walls, light switches and other surfaces
  • Replace light bulbs
  • Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, tiles, tubs, shower walls and fixtures
  • Clean, polish and buff floors, walls, baseboards and door handles
  • Restock towels, supplies and equipment
  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry
  • Stock and restock member areas and storage rooms
  • Follow all Club policies, procedures and rules
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Facilities Manager or senior management
  • Report all damage, needed repairs or malfunctioning equipment immediately
