Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screen
- Provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Practice good personal hygiene
- Be neatly groomed
- Be in uniform
- Able to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously
- Able to push and pull carts or equipment over 100 lb on tile and carpeted floors
- Handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
- Operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
- Preferred housekeeping experience in cleaning, environmental services, custodial, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, or healthcare
Job Duties
- Clean assigned areas of the hospital including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
- Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
- Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
