Job Duties
- Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
- dusts the room and furniture, vacuums carpet, and mops floors
- cleans bathrooms, removing soil, dirt/soap build-up, and hair from the bathroom mirror, vanity, sink toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain, and floor
- replenishes guestroom and bath supplies including facial, toilet tissue, and bathroom amenities in correct amounts and locations
- cleans closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris and ensuring correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blankets/pillows, and luggage racks
- removes dirty bed linen and makes the bed with clean linen
- performs rotation cleaning duties such as steam-cleaning carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning
- performs minor maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and filters
- anticipates guests' needs, responds promptly, and maintains positive guest relations
- familiar with all resort services, features, and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries
- attends to and resolves guest calls, guest requests, and complaints
- monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- authorized to enter guestrooms for cleaning and turndown services
- follows standard operating procedures
- achieves and exceeds guest satisfaction scores
- assists other team members and is ready to step in at a moment's notice
- updates status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet
- returns and restocks cart at the end of shift
- performs all other duties as assigned
