Job Requirements
- Considerable knowledge of cleaning techniques, methods, materials, equipment, and chemicals for a wide variety of surfaces and materials
- Knowledge of safety practices in using chemicals and cleaning equipment
- Working skill in the operation of power cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuum-cleaners
- Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching required
- Good oral communication skills
- Ability to follow departmental guidelines and complete tasks using checklists
- Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Experience operating power cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation standards for public facilities
- Familiarity with safety practices when using chemicals
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties

Job Duties
- Ensure daily cleaning of museum areas according to established protocols
- Clean and maintain event spaces before, during, and after special events
- Operate power cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners safely
- Follow safety guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting heavy objects and frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate cleaning activities and respond to facility needs
- Utilize Google Workspace tools and checklists to complete cleaning tasks accurately
