Job Requirements
- Appropriate housekeeping experience
- Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to adhere to universal precautions and safety standards
- Capability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning
- Willingness to complete training provided
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Housekeeping experience
- Basic knowledge of infection control practices
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Good physical stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and adapt to hospital policies
Job Duties
- Cleans and disinfects areas by completing 7 step cleaning process
- Practices infection control guidelines by adhering to universal precautions and practices safety precautions completing work assignments
- Maintains equipment, storage rooms and environmental closets in orderly fashion
- Performs all floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policy and procedures
- Follows Service First principles
- Fulfills hospital required competencies
- Adheres to hospital and departmental policy and procedures
- Completes assigned goals
