Job Duties
- Clean assigned resident homes and common community areas including cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, cleaning floors and dusting
- Deliver appropriate care of residents' belongings for cleaning, organizing, and storing
- Execute timely cleaning duties after resident transfer, move out, or discharge and prepare rooms for new occupants
- Maintain an organized and stocked work cart ensuring chemicals are properly labeled, stored and the cart is locked when unattended or in common areas
- Follow cleaning practices for isolation rooms using appropriate infection control and isolation guidelines
- Initiate requests for supplies and equipment needs to supervisor
- Confirm chemicals are labeled and stored correctly
