Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning
- knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- attention to detail
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow directions and work independently
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma, GED or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
- previous housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred
Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations
- ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital
- report any situations that may affect health and well-being of patients or employees
- assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly
- responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA
- report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
- submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor
