Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including for marijuana and other substances
  • Must comply with grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
  • Must agree to alcohol consumption prohibition during employment
  • Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests
  • Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas
  • Acknowledge guests by name and respond to housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to service standards
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
  • Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
  • Clean up spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
  • Build genuine relationships with guests and efficiently cater to all housekeeping requests
  • Assist with greeting guests during embarkation and help during special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
