Job Requirements
- Minimum education equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school
- previous cleaning experience helpful but not required
- ability to walk and stand for entire work shift
- ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily tasks
- ability to lift 25 to 35 pounds intermittently
- availability to work weekends including Saturdays and Sundays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies
- ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- ability to work independently without direct supervision
- excellent customer service skills
- positive attitude and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of hotel housekeeping services to maintain clean guest rooms according to established standards
- visually inspect rooms to assist in identifying maintenance items needed
- assist guests by providing linens, terry, amenities or information as requested
- assist in laundry or cleaning public spaces when needed
- ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly service responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints with a +1 service attitude
- contribute to maintaining a positive work environment for team members and guests
