- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills to interact with residents and staff courteously
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Job Duties
- Cleaning resident rooms and common areas to include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Maintaining the housekeeping cart by keeping it clean, stocked and labeled
- Assisting with related duties such as laundry or spill cleanup
- Ensuring cleanliness standards meet company and health requirements
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning
- Collaborating with team members to optimize workflow and resident satisfaction
- Supporting the overall cleanliness and comfort of the senior living community
