Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in housekeeping or custodial work
- Ability to utilize protective gear and follow safety guidelines
- Capacity to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping and moving furniture
- Willingness to assist with laundry duties
- Ability to communicate courteously with residents and staff
- Commitment to follow infection control and hand hygiene protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Utilizes protective gear as directed
- Professionally clean and maintain property
- Use cleaning products and procedures as directed by company standards
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing all surfaces
- Move all reasonably portable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind
- Assist with laundry as needed
- Safely mix and use cleaning solutions adhering to safety precautions
- Interact appropriately with residents, families and other personnel
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
- Follow proper reporting, isolation and handwashing procedures and techniques
