Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years of related experience or training
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow safety guidelines and cleaning procedures
- capability to use commercial laundry and cleaning equipment
- willingness to perform assigned duties with diligence and professionalism
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean all areas as assigned according to departmental standards, process, and procedures
- maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning technique
- make independent decisions and follow instructions
- deal tactfully with associates, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- follow written and oral instructions concerning mixing cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions
- relate information concerning a resident's condition
- use supplies in an economical and prudent manner
- report supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing
- operate buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums, and all commercial laundry equipment
- perform additional duties as assigned or needed by Housekeeping Lead
