Job Duties
- Clean all common areas including the lobby guest restrooms and hallways
- vacuum all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture
- dust all furniture hanging pictures and fixtures
- sanitize handrails
- clean glass surfaces
- clean doors doorways and walls
- clean and disinfect common areas and restrooms
- mop or vacuum common areas
- clean and disinfect soiled utility bins
- clean and organize laundry areas and storage closets
- ensure housekeeping cart and supplies are safely stored
- ensure hazardous cleaning products are properly stored and labeled
- clean resident rooms or apartments by vacuuming dusting and disinfecting bathrooms
- launder residents linens towels sheets and other items
- ensure residents personal clothing remains separate and returned promptly
- properly dispose of soiled clothing or linens
- constantly wipe water or liquid on floors to prevent slips and falls
- establish and maintain good relationships with residents and family members
- practice proper body mechanics when lifting and follow safety guidelines
- follow company guidelines for uniforms and name badges
- use company provided equipment properly
- work safely and alertly
- take ownership for associate and resident safety
- disclose medications that might impair job performance
