Job Duties

  • Clean all common areas including the lobby guest restrooms and hallways
  • vacuum all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture
  • dust all furniture hanging pictures and fixtures
  • sanitize handrails
  • clean glass surfaces
  • clean doors doorways and walls
  • clean and disinfect common areas and restrooms
  • mop or vacuum common areas
  • clean and disinfect soiled utility bins
  • clean and organize laundry areas and storage closets
  • ensure housekeeping cart and supplies are safely stored
  • ensure hazardous cleaning products are properly stored and labeled
  • clean resident rooms or apartments by vacuuming dusting and disinfecting bathrooms
  • launder residents linens towels sheets and other items
  • ensure residents personal clothing remains separate and returned promptly
  • properly dispose of soiled clothing or linens
  • constantly wipe water or liquid on floors to prevent slips and falls
  • establish and maintain good relationships with residents and family members
  • practice proper body mechanics when lifting and follow safety guidelines
  • follow company guidelines for uniforms and name badges
  • use company provided equipment properly
  • work safely and alertly
  • take ownership for associate and resident safety
  • disclose medications that might impair job performance
