Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to follow established housekeeping guidelines and quality assurance standards
- knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- ability to maintain cleaning schedules
- strong communication skills and ability to report issues promptly
- willingness to work collaboratively with nursing services and other departments
Job Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of the principles of safe and effective housekeeping practices within the State of Indiana
- ability to be a team player to partner with other departments
- high school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide a full range of housekeeping services to maintain grounds furnishings equipment and facility
- follow established housekeeping guidelines and quality assurance standards
- maintain cleaning schedules for assigned areas
- coordinate routine and terminal isolation procedures with Nursing Services
- maintain knowledge of and follow safety regulations policies and procedures and established safety precautions
- report all unsafe or hazardous conditions and defective equipment to supervisor immediately
- honor residents personal and property rights
- file complaints and grievances with supervisor in a timely fashion
