Job Requirements

Ability to work specified hours including Monday-Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm shift
Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
Commitment to confidentiality
Ability to work in a team environment
Compliance with safety principles, laws, and regulations such as CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA
Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent
One to three months of related experience
Effective communication skills
Ability to follow cleaning protocols and safety regulations
Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment

Job Duties

Maintains a clean/neat environment in working areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas
Participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash
Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc
Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies
Maintains good customer relations at all times
May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens
