Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in a hospitality, service, or consumer-facing role preferred
- Must have a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Desire to provide excellent guest service
- Willingness to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Follow clock-in/out policies for breaks
- Provide sufficient notice when unable to work a scheduled shift
- Physical ability to perform tasks including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve all guests with hospitality
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality and adherence to clock-in/clock-out policies
- Ability to clock in/out during scheduled breaks
- Ability to provide sufficient notice when calling out
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Possess strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel as needed
- Use relevant technology for the role effectively
- Answer incoming calls with friendly service and approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean, well-organized, and safe
- Assist team members in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet every guest with a smile by name if possible while cleaning
- Complete all pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and tools on assigned work cart
- Clean and restock assigned guest rooms thoroughly per shift
- Perform additional cleaning projects assigned by supervisors in storage rooms, public areas, guest laundry, and room deep cleaning activities
- Ensure all operational checklists are completed accurately and on time
- Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Maintain a flawless uniform and groomed appearance with a nametag and smile
- Maintain clear, honest, and professional communication with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional role boundaries to meet business and guest needs
- Collaborate effectively to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace
