Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certificate preferred
- ability to stand, move, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- ability to demonstrate proficiency in Internet browsers and Microsoft Office
- ability to communicate effectively
- willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols including background checks, drug screening, and use of PPE
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certificate preferred
- proficiency in Internet browsers such as Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox
- proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher
- knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and HR related systems if applicable
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under direction and take initiative
Job Duties
- Performing thorough cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, trash removal
- performing cleaning duties to a schedule in assigned areas such as resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the community
- collecting and laundering soiled linens in accordance with policies and regulations
- folding, sorting, and distributing clean laundry
- reporting supply and equipment needs to supervisor and restock supplies as needed
- working in coordination with maintenance by reporting necessary repairs
- ensuring effective communication with residents' families concerning their care
- working well with others and taking direction from management
- engaging in conflict intervention and resolution as needed
- fulfilling other duties as assigned to meet the needs of residents and the community
