Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to perform housekeeping and laundry services at Sunrise quality standards
- desire to work with seniors
- compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- availability for assigned shifts
- pass drug test and physical evaluation as required
- vaccination compliance as per applicable laws
- willingness to participate in training and team meetings
Job Qualifications

- experience providing housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment

- ability to handle multiple priorities and interruptions

- ability to work semi-independently while following procedures
- willingness to participate in required training and team activities
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- perform cleaning tasks according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, spot cleaning, and vacuuming floors and carpets
- clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- maintain furniture and glass surfaces by dusting, washing, and polishing
- respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies in a clean, orderly condition
- transport clean and soiled linens to appropriate areas
- collect trash and maintain trash receptacles in a sanitary manner
- collect, clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack laundry following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and tear and report damaged items
- maintain laundry area cleanliness and order
- assist care managers and department coordinators with resident care as requested
- practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- document resident information changes in daily logs
- ensure cleaning chemicals and equipment are stored safely and hazards are controlled
- comply with safety procedures including PPE and infection control
- participate in team meetings and training
- perform other duties as assigned
