Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is beneficial
- Ability to perform manual tasks involving physical activity
- Basic understanding of chemical cleaning agents and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills in English
- Comfortable working evening shifts
- Willingness to undergo training for equipment operation and safety
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
Job Qualifications
- Basic communication skills in English
- Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity using fine hand manipulations
- Familiarity with operation of heavy-duty and electrical cleaning and laundry equipment
- Basic computer skills which may be obtained through on-the-job training
- Ability to utilize supplies, tools, and equipment properly and efficiently
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, orderly and attractive environment throughout all hospital departments, patient areas, offices, corridors, and hospital-controlled areas
- Perform routine cycle cleaning and utilize chemical cleaning agents as required
- Operate heavy-duty and electrical cleaning and laundry equipment properly
- Utilize supplies, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely
- Manage paper and other related materials within hospital premises
- Communicate effectively in basic English to ensure safe and efficient job performance
- Follow all safety and operational protocols to maintain hospital hygiene standards
