Job Duties
- Performs cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- vacuums and spot cleans carpets
- dusts furniture, woodwork, and equipment
- polishes and cleans fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms
- cleans fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, and restrooms
- stocks supplies in restrooms as needed
- removes solid linens, trash, and bio-hazard materials from collection areas
- notifies supervisor of needed repairs and submits supply order sheets weekly
- gathers and disposes of trash and waste materials
- assists with Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed
- assists with Utility Tech functions as needed
- participates in educational programs and in-services
- attends required meetings
