  • capability of reading and following manufacturer instructions for chemical use
  • attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining supply levels

Job Duties

  • Cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas
  • coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services
  • perform dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming, stripping or scrubbing, refinishing, and shampooing
  • deliver and manage clean linen
  • remove soiled linen and dispose of trash properly
  • clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, and room heating or cooling units
  • clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures
  • clean windows and mirrors in all assigned areas
  • follow proper chemical and disinfectant use techniques
  • adhere to infection control procedures
  • report uncertainties or unusual occurrences to supervisor or security
  • push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 60 pounds
  • assist in secure operation of the facility by reporting unusual occurrences
