Job Duties
- Cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas
- coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services
- perform dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming, stripping or scrubbing, refinishing, and shampooing
- deliver and manage clean linen
- remove soiled linen and dispose of trash properly
- clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, and room heating or cooling units
- clean and sanitize bathroom fixtures
- clean windows and mirrors in all assigned areas
- follow proper chemical and disinfectant use techniques
- adhere to infection control procedures
- report uncertainties or unusual occurrences to supervisor or security
- push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 60 pounds
- assist in secure operation of the facility by reporting unusual occurrences
