Job Duties

  • cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas
  • coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services
  • perform dust mopping, wet mopping, vacuuming, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, shampooing, and extraction
  • deliver clean linen and dispose of soiled linen and trash
  • clean and polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating and cooling units
  • sanitize bathroom fixtures and clean windows and mirrors
  • follow proper chemical mixing and cleaning techniques
  • adhere to infection control procedures
  • maintain quality of linen and supply par levels
  • notify supervisor of any unusual situations
  • assist with security by reporting incidents
  • be able to push, pull, move, or lift a minimum of 60 pounds
