Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years prior experience as a bartender or bar back
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Two-year experience as a cashier in a similar property
  • Liquor Commission Card and certification from alcohol awareness program required to serve alcoholic beverages
  • TB clearance
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to reach 6 feet
  • Ability to stand and walk for a longer period of time throughout work shift
  • Ability to maintain stationary position for longer periods throughout work shift

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Two-year experience as a cashier in a similar property
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred
  • Liquor Commission Card and certification from alcohol awareness program
  • TB clearance as state law requirement

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available in all outlets
  • Strictly abide by all state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
  • Take inventory, prepare beverage order and input order in Adaco in adherence to outlet’s guidelines
  • Perform POS functions including inputting orders, verifying charges and settlement of checks
  • Complete opening and closing side duties including counting and securing bank and completing reports
  • Interact with guests at the bar, knowledgeable about food menu items and able to make suggestions
