Job Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of eighth-grade education
- no prior experience required, on-the-job training provided
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- ability to make independent decisions and accept constructive criticism
- ability to interact tactfully with residents, family members, and staff
- ability to maintain and care for supplies and equipment
- willingness to work collaboratively with others
- ability to follow instructions regarding cleaning solutions
- must not pose a threat to workplace health or safety

Job Duties
- Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical
- report all accidents/incidents to supervisor immediately
- coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services during cleaning assignments
- maintain confidentiality of assigned user ID codes and passwords and report any violation
- protect resident's health information and report any known or suspected violations
- report unauthorized access attempts to facility's information system
- attend departmental and staff meetings
- perform tasks according to daily work assignments
- file complaints/grievances with supervisor
- report incidents of fraud to administrator
- ensure unattended computer workstations are logged off or password protected
